Forest Fields was a site-specific three channel video project commissioned for the inaugural exhibition of Nottingham’s New Art Exchange gallery ‘Next We Change Earth’ in 2008.

The work examines the history of the ‘Forest Recreational Grounds’, a public park adjacent to the Gallery as a metaphorical site across which notions of urban space, wild and tamed landscapes and notions of the idyllic, are explored with specific reference to the history of Nottingham.
